Every year thousands of American women hear the frightening diagnosis of fibroids in their uterus. This is a terrifying diagnosis for any woman, partially because many woman don’t know much about uterine fibroids, and partially because doctors often recommend radical treatments such as prescription drugs and surgery. Scary as it sounds, and is, it is important that you know that a diagnosis of fibroids in your uterus is not the end of the world. There are many alternative therapies available to you to treat them naturally that many women have found successful.

Initially, it’s best to try to understand what fibroids are and what causes the condition. This can offer significant insight as to why natural remedies are the best treatment plan.

Uterine fibroids are growths that occur in a woman’s uterus. These growths are made up of smooth muscle tissue. Many women have fibroids, but since a majority of them are small in size and don’t cause any problems, most women are unaware they even have them. Unpleasant symptoms only arise when the fibroids grow too large or grow in particular places in the uterus.

Some women affected by uterine fibroids look like they are pregnant; some other women feel bloated or discomfort. Women having fibroids experience intense pain as well as abnormal bleeding; at this stage the periods are extremely heavy and bleeding lasts as long as 7 days. They also have spotting in between periods.

Fibroids in the uterus are a complication for women who are trying to get pregnant. Fibroids can block the fallopian tube and thus prevent fertilization. Fibroids located near the uterine lining can prevent sperm from implanting the egg, or can cause miscarriages. Fibroids of especially large size can make getting pregnant difficult due simply to the sheer bulk of the tumor.

First of all, you must know the reason for the abnormal growth of the fibroids. You might find that a lot of theories are being floated on this; however, in my personal experience, I found that my clients who suffer from the worst symptoms are those who have been exposed to high levels of toxins. These toxins are artificial chemicals that are structurally similar to the estrogen naturally found in the human body; these are classified under the category of xenoestrogens.

Many pesticides that are sprayed over fruits and vegetables contain xenoestrogen chemicals. Other sources of these harmful chemicals are household products, pharmaceutical drugs, cosmetics and non-organic meat and dairy. In my experiences with clients, I’ve found that by switching to organic foods and to natural cosmetics and household products, women have noticed an improvement in symptoms and even a stop or decline in fibroid growth.

If you are encountering problems with your fibroids, I recommend that you consider detoxing these xenoestrogen chemicals from your body. Body cleansing is a way you can do this, and it simply consists of taking certain herbs to cleanse the colon, liver, kidneys and to expel heavy metal and parasite toxins from your body. The body cleansing kit we recommend takes 28 days, yet it’s important to note that everyone notices changes within the first seven days.

While detoxifying, I recommend taking FibroClear, which is an organic herbal supplement which helps your body re-balance its own natural hormones, estrogen and progesterone. This natural supplement not only reduces the size and discomfort of fibroids, but reduces uterine spasms and heavy bleeding as well.

The last step in reducing severe fibroids is the addition of another supplement, AlkaGreens Plus. In addition to switching to organic foods, there is a group of “superfoods” which help reduce fibroid tumors. AlkaGreens Plus is a concentrate of these “superfoods;” taking this supplement will insure that you get the benefit of these “superfoods” without the hassle of shopping, portioning, and cooking them.

One of the major advantages in opting for this natural approach for healing fibroids in uterus is that it produces absolutely no side effects that are normal with chemical drugs as well as surgery. Under normal circumstances, you should start feeling better in a few weeks.
