Fibroids In Uterus
Fibroids in uterus? When you’re told you have fibroids your first reaction may be fear, especially if your physician is suggesting surgical removal or prescription drugs. However, fibroids in your uterus may not be as life altering as they appear as there are natural alternatives to conventional medical therapies.
To demonstrate why these alternative treatments may be the best way to improve this condition, we must first define what fibroids are and what causes them.
Uterine fibroids are smoothed, muscle tissue lumps that are located in the uterus. Many women have fibroids, but they aren’t aware of them since in many cases the fibroids are so small that they do not cause any problems. Symptoms start only when the fibroid grows too large or they are located in specific areas.
Women describing the symptoms of uterine fibroids say they’re bloated and uncomfortable, such as some women even say they look like they’re expecting a child! Pain and abnormal bleeding are two other symptoms. This “abnormal bleeding,” includes bleeding for longer than a week, bleeding between periods, or periods during which you bleed so much you can soak through a pad or tampon in an hour.
Fibroids also make it more difficult for women to conceive. For example, fertilization cannot happen if a fibroid is blocking the fallopian tube; if the fibroid is near the uterine lining; or it can even interrupt implantation or cause miscarriages. In some cases, women have a hard time getting pregnant due to the fibroid being so big.
No one knows exactly what causes fibroids, or what causes them to grow so large in some women. I have found that, in my clients who suffer the worst symptoms, high exposure to toxins is the culprit. These toxins fall under the category of xenoestrogens, which are man-made chemicals very similar in chemical structure to the estrogen produced by a woman’s body.
These xenoestrogen chemicals are found everywhere; in pharmaceuticals, in cleaning products used in the household, in pesticides used on fruits and vegetables, in non-organic meat and dairy products, and even in beauty products. But I have found that when my clients switch to natural cleaners and cosmetics and to organic food there are rapid improvements to their symptoms, and their fibroids stop enlarging.
If you find yourself suffering from the symptoms of uterine fibroids, it would be beneficial to detox xenoestrogens from your system. This body cleansing involves cleansing the organs (colon, liver, and kidneys) with herbs, which rids the body of heavy metals and parasites. The cleansing kit I recommend to my patients is a 28-day course, and all of my clients who have tried it notice a difference within seven days.
At the same time that you are detoxing, I recommend that you use natural herbs to keep your hormones in balance. FibroidClear is an organic, herbal supplement that can reduce the fibroid size and help the body balance out estrogen and progesterone in a natural way. Other benefits include reducing heavy bleeding and uterine spasms.
As I mentioned previously, an organic diet is very important to avoid toxins. Other foods, such as “superfood” vegetables, can help reduce the size of growths. These foods provide the nutrients necessary to heal the growths, restore lost blood from heavy cycles, and help the body to detoxify. Fast results can often be obtained by ingesting these foods in a concentrated form (AlkaGreens Plus).
